All-Purpose, Never-Ending Soccer Thread

Well, Drogba somehow put a shot over the bar from about 4 yards out -- that's not easy to do.

 

Very talented man, that Drogba.

 

Kaka makes it 1-0 vs. ManU in a monsoon.

 

That was pretty sweet. Sets up the rest of the game nicely.

 

2-0. ManU's back line looks completely flustered and unorganized.

 

Man, United look tired. Brown kills them at the back for 2-0 on Seedorf's goal.

 

3-0, and its time for a rematch. Milan vs. Liverpool.

 

Maybe it was the audio feed or the stadium design, but Milan's crowd wasn't half as loud as Liverpool yesterday.

 

Few crowds are half as loud as a packed house at Anfield.

 

Damn right, that place is special. Hope they can replicate it when they move into the new stadium in a few years.

 

I'm making it a goal to get there before it closes.

 

I'm really excited for the rematch....also very excited that i don't have to see Chelsea-Man Utd play for a third time in May.

I'm back in the US now and watch whatever i can on espn2, fox sports soccer and a bar not too far from me but it really pales in comparison to when i lived in london...almost makes me wish i didn't come back home...
