Nope. I have no real interest. I know a few people that will be there. If it were the US, Scotland or England involved, well...

I will be at the Red Bull game tomorrow on ESPN2. Look for me behind the goal (the seats behind the other goal are covered so...).

Fox Soccer Channel is said to have the game. So, I'll probably be at my local watching.

Why are we saying EPL for the FA Cup. The two things are run by difference organizations.

And as far as I can remember, the League Championship trophy was given on the field, since most stadium don't have steps like Wembley.

Just walked back in from next-door, strip-center pizza joint and you beat me to it, TB. And yes, Liverpool was dragging ass for the last 10 minutes. Nobody could win a ball and the defenders were statues on Milan's final goal.

Pretty much sums things up, save for the fact that AC Milan shouldn't have been anywhere near this game in the first place.

    But that's already been addressed.

And I don't see it on my onscreen interactive guide.

I tried as hard as I could not to cheer for AC, but in the end my hatred for the red scouse outweighed my hatred for cheating Italians.

Hopefully I can get a team to cheer for in the final next year...C'mon Sevilla!

Those listings for FSC are old. They were released 6 or 7 days ago. It wasn't until recently that they obtained the broadcast rights. They have been advertising the game and one of the first American-based Rangers Supporters Clubs says the game is on FSC.

Not quite sure what to think about yesterday. It's always a bright, beautiful day anytime the RS lose, but there's something oogy about a team that had no business even being in the Champions League winning the whole thing.

It's even stranger seeing the Italian press -- the ones who were calling Milan's inclusion in the tournament a disgrace -- now praising the team to the heavens. Chissa, eh?

Agree with twoby: Benitez got his personnel right, but his tactics wrong. I know people were yelling for Crouch, and I can understand that, but given how unusually shaky Milan's back line was, Bellamy's pace could've been just as useful as Crouch's size.

    -----------

In any case, time for Europe to take a break and give way to a busy summer. MLS, Copa de Oro, Copa America, the Asian Cup and the U-20 World Cup are all going on this summer.

The Gold Cup roster is supposed to be released at noon today on ussoccer.com.

Here's one huge change from the Arena era -- a roster being released early!

We certainly are bringing our A team with that roster. Can't disagree with much -- except I'd love to see more Cooper and less Ching.

I can't say that I dislike the list, because I don't. I will just post: Frankie Hejduk?!?

Okay, seriously, I'm not so high on Mastroeni anymore. The shit he pulled in the waning moments of the first half of the Italy game demonstrated how much that guy doesn't belong on the pitch anymore. Justin Mapp hasn't learned to use his right foot yet. That could be trouble. Donovan needs to continually be referred to as a forward. He is NOT a midfielder and should never play as one again.

    -----
Reading Webster's response, I will say the opposite. I love Ching. Cooper is a big body that plays scared. He should be using his size to get in the middle and battle more. He doesn't. I was real high on Cooper when I first watched him. Now, I feel as though he has lost his luster.
