Interesting news-apparently former Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello was offered a job by an unnamed MLS team.

Who in MLS is looking for a coach right now?

If this was a month or so ago, I would immediately think Chicago. But I don't think there are any teams that in need.

Yeah, I was trying to figure that out as well...Which MLS coaches are on the hot seat?

I doubt anyone's on the hot seat per se, but if you can get Capello, why wouldn't you push someone out.

Especially if you just obtained a player the coach used to manage, while the team is thought to have been underachieving.

I'm looking at you Frank Yallop.

    Ives has this to say:

Seriously, Red Bull fires Arena one season in. No chance. Lalas is crazy enough to do it.

Right. I only took a snip of Ives' comments. He didn't think it would happen but maybe RBNY gets impatient. As to Lalas, it really depends. He pushed hard to get Yallop. Now, Lalas suddenly thinks Yallop isn't good enough? Odd.

As I said, it may not be a question of "Is my guy good enough?"

It may be a question of "We can get Capello!"

Chelsea's going to Disneyland! Or at least to the Wide World of Sports Complex, where they are now the official pro soccer club and presenting sponsor of the Disney Soccer Showcase Series.

Oh, and everyone might be bored by Beckham on Saturday. Turns out his ankle's still bothering him....

seat can't get much hotter than Fernando Clavijo's in Colorado, also the talent is there, just not the results ...

Fabio Capello, from the Bernabeu to Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. He couldn't be that desperate for a job.

You know, according to the report, he turned down two strong Russian clubs. Usually a lot of this stuff is hot air when it comes to coaches saying they've received and offer from an unnamed team. It could be that he's just trying to make sure people know he's out there, and in demand somewhere, so he can get a job back in Serie A.
