For those whose computers have the necessary muscle, MLSnet.com has free video today through April 14.

Two thumbs up for Columbus' sideline reporter.

Been too buried in winter sports/baseball to add anything useful to the discussion at this point, but what should the new Toronto MLS franchise be named? I'd start a poll or something, but god knows how I'll get blasted by the mainstreamers if I do.

Nah, Tex, you wouldn't be blasted.....

I'd have to say something with a Canadian feel.... maybe Mounties? Though I have to admit Toronto Mounties sounds lamer than shit. When you've got a classic name like "Maple Leafs" anything else is going to sound weak. Especially Raptors.

The Toronto Hosers? I'd buy the kit.

    Hmmmm....
I did see a poll online that included boring European knockoffs like Toronto United, Toronto Athletic, Toronto FC, and Toronto Rovers. Although, the last one's not bad.

But if they decide to not go Euro, you're right, it should be something representative of the city and country. I'd love the Toronto Blues. But that's more of a Montreal justification. I'd just love it if the team was sponsored by Labatt's.

They could do the Toronto Rangers, I guess.

Great first half for Red Bull -- up 2-0. Hopefully, Crass doesn't have alcohol poisoning after the free pre-game party.

The Game of Their Lives movie is available. Check certain illicit torrent sites and such for details.

Or from the post-game party to wipe away the second half. ;D :D :-X

Toronto Tundra? Toronto Blue Leafs? ;)

Are they planning on co-existing with the Toronto Lynx, if they still exist? If they don't, maybe they could acquire that name for some instant local recognition.

Mmm, Red Bull. The greatest drink ever invented.

A buddie of mine and I polished off a case before we left Jersey. We began our drinking at about 8am.

There were some minore scuffles after the game, but it's always the same DC assholes year after year.

The second half was not pretty.

Did O'Rourke look as good on the tele as he did when I was there, or was I really just so far gone that I had no idea what was happening.

Open bar with lunch provided good Red Bull and Vodka. It was a smooth change from the bus ride down which was Tennants.

    Brain is slow this morning.

And this just in... Tony Meola was just named to The Bruce's roster against Jamaica.

    Cap number 100?

I think he's just getting less Fat Tony to the magic number as a thank you and because he doesn't plan on using a US-based keeper in Germany.

O'Rourke didn't look that good.  If the game were only defending 1 v. 1 and not played as part of a team structure, based on Sunday, Wynne would be damn near ready for Germany.
