About the unis - can't see that happening.... don't know why, but that just seems lame.

Game last night didn't impress me at all. Defense was shaky, midfield looked disjointed, no attack up top.

I'm even starting to sour on Mastroeni. Dude does way too much whining, plus he's getting to be one of the dirtier players on the side.

Ziz, I know what you mean about the game. I was very unimpressed with the play of many people out there. Just my feeling.

As to the jerseys, I don't know. I think it depends on what they look like. I'll talk to my contact and see if he has heard anything about this. If its true, he'll know about.

Okay, so reports are coming out that the new 2007 Toronto MLS franchise will be named
    Inter Toronto FC

I'm pretty much always in the camp of "Don't-Give-A-Shit" but there will be people who do. There will be whining. There will be calls about "European Names." So I'm left wondering what is truly out there that could supplant this name by something better.

I actually thing Inter somewhat applies due to the International nature of Toronto's team. They are, after all, the only team outside of the lower 48 to come into the league.

I didn't see any highlights, but I read that Lua Lua hurt himself doing his backflip celebration thing after he scored against the Gunners yesterday. That would be a shame if he stopped doing it -- it's kind of like Ozzie Smith on opening day.

For Webster: 10-years ago, today, April 13. The MetroStars played their first ever game. They lost to LA 2-1, Gio scored the lone goal for the Metros.

The only static remnants of that game: Tony Meola.

In my second month with it, and I so agree.

There's something about getting Premier League games live...

And the female anchor on the Fox Soccer Report is cute in a girl who likes sports sort of a way.

After Man United's home 0-0 tie against Sunderland -- the worst EPL team ever -- which killed any dim hope at making a running a Chelsea, they better check the generator at Old Trafford because SAF is going to have the hairdryer on full power.
