Speaking of Barca, you psyched about them coming? That will be fun.

As to Chinaglia... Who knows? I would like to think that they wouldn't bring him in, but anything is possible.

Heaven forbid Garber actually think his league is worth something....

I'm quite enjoying the Saturday double-dips. Makes for one less game I have to flip between on Direct Kick.

Night owls like myself very, very much enjoy the 11 pm games on the west coast, even if that means I'll be watching Chivas or the Galaxy every week..... Might be a bit to ask, but 9 pm isn't too late to start a game in Denver or Salt Lake, is it? That'd be two more possibilities.....

9 p.m. kick for Fake Salt Lake ... 11 p.m. (or so) finish. Lotta groggy folks at the next morning's services.

Besides, with the way they're playing right now, there's not really much point in watching Os Rapidos or FSL. Might want to start that letter-writing campaign to get Seattle an MLS club....

Trooper, I don't disagree on believing the value. But, sometimes you need to recognize the actual worth. FSC, as a premium pay channel, doesn't have the revenue stream of ESPN. Therefore, if MLS wants games on FSC they should make an effort to do so.

With the way things are, it just didn't make sense for Garber to try and pull the plug on it.

The NY Times Article that could send me into a murderous rage.

No. No. No. No fucking Cosmos. Fuck that shit. And no more fucking Giants fucking Stadium. Fuck.

USMNT is now ranked 4th in the world.

Why is it that I get the feeling they want a bullseye on our back?

They somehow managed to avoid seeding us, so the ranking isn't doing anybody any good.
    Except Bruce, perhaps.

As a Crew supporter, I chuckle at the thought of still playing in Giants Stadium.... heh heh....

Sure, it's nice when Red Bull comes in, gives trips to DC to watch the team play, gives free RB & Vodka... but when they want to change the name.... haha.... Sorry, I don't want to enjoy your misery, but I can't help but be amused by it.

Zizz, there is quite a history with the name Cosmos here. You have people in the area that will only support the local team if that name is slapped on. Then you have people that want to move forward away from the Cosmos idea and make it what it is: MLS.

I am not a fan of the name change, but I don't care that much. However, putting on Cosmos would just about make me puke. And I state this as someone that has a Cosmos scarf from way back in the day.

Now, the stadium situation. This needs to happen. Fast. I liked Crew Stadium. I was there for the US/Mexico match. I had a blast.

Anyone else watch the CONCACAF Championship on FSC?

Scoreless through 90 minutes, three goals in 25 minutes of extra time.

Third goal came a few minutes after a few punches red carded two guys.

Don't have FSC, so I'm screwed.

Sounds like a cracker of a match.
