OK, doing a little early roll call, who's going to Hartford for the Latvia friendly? I wasn't going to, but then I thought about it tonight and realized I'd really like to do it. Just curious as to who among the other footy freaks on here are going.

I'd go, but I'm actually moving out of the Northeast the previous week. I will, however, be at the Venezuela match in Cleveland.....

No chance. Going to Germany a few weeks later and Mrs. W will not stand for any more road trips, even if only for a day.

Sorry, Tex. I was up there for the US/T&T match. It is a helluva place to watch a game. The crowd was awesome.

Unfortunately, I won't be at this one.

He's in Amsterdam. He's lucky he wasn't busted for more than just alcohol!

Him and Buddle should hang out more.

Mo is staying on as Red Bull head coach... Press release to come.

  8. Which is why Arsenal kicked and ran all over Villareal, who might have had two good quality scoring chances.

Too bad Thierry Henry will be suiting up in Italy or Spain next season...

Um, yeah, Arsenal is fifth in the EPL.... What happened to Everton, Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea, the other four EPL teams in the Champions League? I mean, Arsenal's the only one to advance past the knockout round. The EPL got five teams in, more than any other league, yet they only got one to the quarterfinal round? Serie A got three into the quarters, La Liga got two in.... IMO, it's an embarrassment for the EPL to only have one team advance even to the quarters.

I don't know that the EPL needs to be embarrassed.
They've got the reigning Champions League holder. It's likely Arsenal will play for the title this year. I believe Middlesbrough in still among the final four in the UEFA Cup.
    I'd say that's a fair performance.

    Nice.

It will be nice if he shows up before game time tomorrow.

Anybody listen to Eric Wynalda on the ESPN MLS broadcasts? I like him alot. Very outspoken.

And the Chivas-Galaxy game last Sat night was the best MLS game I've ever seen. You should have seen the Galaxy goalie on the first Chivas goal. He was almost covered in a blizzard of confetti and streamers... I swear it hindered his movement.
