Quite the ending to the second leg of the Villareal-Arsenal semifinal. Didn't see much before the PK save, but the Brits get a team to the finals again.

 

First off, what a horrible call to award the PK

secondly,what a terrible effort from Riquelme.

 

I thought it was a pretty weak call, also. Villareal player was diving before he was even touched.

Skipped it, since I knew what happened and didn't really want to watch my blues lose. Also, has anyone seen this FC Fox show? I mean, seriously? How godawful is this? I really can't stand when Americans try to do a show about soccer, acting like it's a big deal here. It feels so poseur-ish. I LOVE Fox Football Friday, because it has no pretense. It's for soccer geeks who love to watch the EPL and other euro leagues, and follow the MLS when they can.

 

Yeah, I knew that FC bullshit was ... bullshit, when the guy said in the first minute, "If you know that FC stands for futbol club, then this is the show for you."
