Buffon is on Italy's 23-man roster.

I think that all of the players are from Serie A.  Is there any other country with every player from their domestic league?

I wondered that same thing when I saw the roster.
Made me wonder why Giuseppe Rossi really believes he has a shot with Italy as long as he stays with Man U.

I wondered that myself. He obviously would get paid very well in Italy and he has stated that his ambition was to play for the Azzurri.

I still like The Bruce's attitude that he's not going to beg Rossi anymore.

    The Bruce does not beg.

Really, the US doesn't need Rossi. There's a host of kids ready to burst onto the scene after the Cup, and in four years, we'll be sitting back and wondering how the hell we qualifed with the likes of Mastroeni and Reyna and McBride in the lineup.

As much as I like McBride and Reyna, I do look forward to that day.

So do I, but Rossi is probably a starter for the Nats right now if he wanted to play. And probably in SA2010 as well.

Reyna and McBride are pretty good players. I like Wynne, Feilhaber, Arvizu, Adu. I hope these guys and their contemporaries are as good as you believe.

    His second goal was unbelievable...

As great of a strike as that was, Hislop was asleep at the wheel. He reacted way, way too late.

Idiot linesman for tomorrow's CL final replaced because someone took a picture of him in a Barca shirt.
