    Dear Fox Soccer Channel,

I realize the Reading match was on delay, but when I'm watching it do you have to give the final score of that match in the bottom line? Nothing like ruining the suspense, eh?

    Sod off you wankers,

    Inky

    Forgot a couple more YAs:

Tim Howard got the start in goal for Everton, and played well by all accounts. The one goal he gave up was a big deflection that sent the ball away from Howard's dive.

Jemal Johnson scores the game-winner in his Wolverhampton debut, a 1-0 win at Burnley. Michael Bradley was a DNP for Heerenveen against Den Haag. Gooch goes a cardless 90 in a 1-1 draw for Standard Liege at Genk. Cherundolo and the Hannover defense got pwned in a 4-0 loss to Hertha Berlin.

I left for work with Spurs down 2-0. Did they lose?

    More YAs moving around, too.

Atletico Madrid signs 14-year-old Shaun Greenfield:

Kansas City's salary cap could get a lot roomier if the two latest transfer rumors have any substance: Josh Wolff (whose contract runs out next season) is getting the once-over by Derby, while Eddie Johnson is a potential target for West Bromwich Albion. WBA manager Bryan Robson has confirmed he's lodged bids for two international forwards, though no names were mentioned.

MLS confirmed having turned down a $750,000 bid from Rosenborg for Jimmy "the Groin" Conrad, as well as a $1.5 million bid from Charlton Athletic for Clint Dempsey. Deuce has responded by shutting down negotiations on extending his MLS contract:

    Yup, same score.

You weren't the only who missed seeing it. Lots of seats still available at the Reebok, from what I saw.

  6. Columbus just ended what seemed like a season long winless streak. Crew 1, Red Bulls and Bruce 0.

A good, mindless game where you play the Premiership season in a game based on volleying in throw ins. You'll get it when you play it. Mousebreaker has a metric assload of football games, action and strategy alike.

Remember, Bruce -- you dance with the Red Bulls, the Red Bulls don't change. You do.

And what got into Fake Salt Lake? 3-1 smackage of a good Houston squad tonight. Inspired by the possible arrival of a Mr. D. Beasley, perhaps?

All this soccer talk, and nothing on Campo's wonderstrike? If you missed it live in the Bolton-Spurs game, you will see it again soon. He hit the bloody thing from 40 yards out, perfect strike.

  10. The Western Conference should be an interesting race. FC Dallas leads at 39, RSL is at 29. The Galaxy is last with 23. Also, I might have found an EPL team to root for....Reading. Nice comeback, sure it is only against 'Borough, but what a way to start the EPL

Not to mention leaving The Future of English Goalkeeping (TM) looking very David James-like.

Missed it this morning, but ManYoo was up 4-0 on Fulham within 20 minutes. Uff-da....

Sure, all they did was spot last season's UEFA Cup runners-up two goals in the first 20 minutes. Easy-peasy.
