Freddy Adu got his wish a little too soon. Nowak to the US team according to WaPo.

I actually don't like this at all. I think Nowak is an overrated, shit coach. I am not high on him in the slightest.

Man, missing out on the Kuykendall Cup really cuts deep, doesn't it? :D

It's not any big thing, really. Just gives Piotr something to do for six months until those Euro vacancies start opening up. Good to see Tom Soehn get a shot at a head coaching gig, too.

That's two draws in a row for the Blues, United's lead is up to 6.

Arsenal has so many players injured right now that they basically fielded a makeshift team today. Add that to the fact that Sheffield has been playing a lot better recently, and there's your answer. I totally saw it coming too.

Funny moment: Sheffield keeper Paddy Kenny injured his groin on a goal kick and had to be substituted. Problem for Sheffield was that they didn't have a backup keeper on their bench so central defender Phil Jagielka had to play keeper for the last half-hour. He actually didn't do too poorly.

A cool (if occasionally inaudible) video of Man United players in a pub singing some of their supporters songs -- love that a bunch of the England players are singing that Ronaldo "makes England look shite".
