    Very easily.

In 2007, when Marco Andretti went flying at Indy right before the rain turned Dario Franchitti into a winner, the car that Marco practically destroyed was Wheldon's 2005 car.

Note to Indy teams ... bad karma to keep running Wheldon's cars out there.

Both cars will be easily rebuilt and be museum pieces by the end of the year.

I agree with Franchitti 100 percent. It is stupid as hell that a random draw could have a major impact on the championship. This isn't rFactor after all.

Maybe the IHSAA took over the sanctioning for one night. ;)

Yes, I agree with Franchitti as well. And I get the feeling he would have been complaining about the draw system even if he drew 3 and Power drew 28. An invert would have been much better, fairer chance for all plus a better show for fans.
I did find Dixon's idea of passing points intriguing.

10 laps in the wet at Montreal - total mayhem - Hamilton hits Webber, hits/is hit by teammate Button, guys sliding all over the place (including Vettel). Safety car No. 2.

LOL Hamilton and Button. I love it when McLaren goes wrong.

Button closed the door on him for sure, but why is Hamilton racing his teammate in that situation?

And its raining just a tad in Montreal. Jeez.

Button was almost Schumacher-esque in his stuffing of Hamilton into the wall there. I assume it never even occurred to Button that Hamilton would try a move there.

I am so glad I am not sitting in that crowd right now...

Anyone else creeped out by the Mika Hakkinen/Michael Schumacher/Nico Rosberg Mercedes ad?

Sure, they can be rebuilt and no one would know the difference...but how does anyone allow the car that wins the centennial Indy 500 to get wrecked in Fort Worth by Wade Freaking Cunningham?

    Awesome finish.

The local Fox affiliate pre-empted the podium and post-race in order to show a rerun of Scrubs.

Since it ran way out of the broadcast window, Fox dropped the broadcast before the podium -- it wasn't a local affiliate decision. They shunted everyone off to Speed for that stuff.

That was quite possibly the most compelling F1 race I've seen in a long time. Last 10 laps were amazing, with the 3-car battle for second and the last few laps chase for the lead.
