I doubt we will see who we are all thinking of in Infinity War. Definitely in Guardians Volume III, but Infinity War is already pretty crowded despite this character being an integral part of that arc in the comics.
    SPOILERS?
    Below:

One thing which would have been cool during all the mayhem happening back in Missouri towards the end, would to have had one or two characters from the MCU go investigate. Just a quick cameo, you know?

Kevin Feige said the one you mentioned won't be in Infinity War but will be reserved for Gunn to use in Guardians Vol. 3.

That also makes sense, but limits the connection to the larger MCU. You would think at least one of those post-credit scenes would pay off during Infinity War, but perhaps not.

I'm muscling through Iron Fist because I heard The Defenders was coming out. I have 2 episodes left and can see why people are down on Iron Fist. But I just watched The Defenders trailer and I think it just made this slog through IF totally worth it. Very well done trailer and has me excited. Now to get through the final IF episodes ...

Do we really need to watch IF to understand The Defenders?

Good question. I'm one of those who has to be caught up on everything to move on to the next. If you watched the first season of Arrow, you basically understand the backstory of IF with the added Eastern spirituality to it. About the only thing you might need is how Claire Temple knows both Luke Cage and Iron Fist but honestly, I'm guessing Defenders is going deeper into Daredevil with a smattering of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage and a taste of Iron Fist.

One hint might be in the supporting characters involved. Claire Temple showed up in all four solo series, but there are supporting characters from all four solo series in Defenders. It does seem like the Hand will play a large role, so that supports your theory that it will dig into storylines introduced in Daredevil. They were also a big part of Iron Fist, but you can understand them just fine without watching that series.

I don't think you need to watch Iron Fist to understand Defenders. Maybe you will miss a few references, but I expect that you would understand the series just fine.

Joss Whedon Replaces Zack Snyder On 'Justice League' After Family Tragedy

Zack Snyder announced he will not finish work on the upcoming Justice League film due to the suicide death of his daughter. Apparently, this happened a while ago and Snyder had not spoken publicly about it, but decided to make the change due to his family's ongoing struggles with what happened.

I know opinions on Snyder are mixed, but you have to feel bad for the guy dealing with something like this in public.

Joss Whedon has taken over in completing the movie.

The whole DC universe seems to be sliding down the toilet.

Not the full scenes, but this video has 35 Stan Lee cameos in Marvel movies and television shows. Some are just pictures. One goes back as far as the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno Hulk series.

It still isn't complete. It doesn't have his appearances from Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2. It is also missing animated voiceovers and appearances even though they did include one from Big Hero 6. Lee did voice-only introductions for some animated series, including Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and a pilot for an X-Men series that never made it called "Pryde of the X-Men."

Then there was his appearance as himself in a particularly weird episode of the Spider-Man animated series form the 1990s.
