In other news, he objects to the new cover of Reader's Digest. He finds it a bit risque.

In the Red Zone today Tebow had 3 TD's 2 running and 1 passing.

Tell that to all the writers tweeting each Tebow movement out by the minute.

All joking aside I think Tebow in the red zone will give defensive coordinators a lot of sleepless nights. They will definately have to game plan to defend 2 different style QB's.

Is 3 over/under before Tebow starts? I would've guessed 5 1/2. And in that spirit, I'll take the over and it's guaranteed Tebow will be the starter this season right or wrong. He should have fun with Brady again this season.

Boomer working overtime to compete for the title of most arrogant and least likeable host on WFAN.

Tebow's reply: "I’ve heard nothing but great things about Mr. Esiason. I know he was a great player here, and I just wish him nothing but the best in his announcing and God bless him."

Sounds like a typical Tebow response. He is certainly an expert at saying the right things. Hell, maybe he even means some of it.

Cutting him would be stupid at this point, but trading for him wasn't a smart move, either.

To call for him to be cut is pure idiocy, and its only purpose is to draw attention to himself (Boomer, that is).

The guy's played one scrimmage. He's said all the right things. He's not tried to undermine Sanchez.

The Jets just traded two picks for him. They're not going to cut him.

I would think that regardless of anyone's feelings on whether Tebow can lead a team to the playoffs, there can't be much doubt that he is good enough for a spot as a backup on a .500 team.

Unless the argument is that Mark Sanchez is too emotionally fragile to face anything resembling a threat to his status. And then your problem is with Sanchez, not Tebow.

No, he'll let his fans do that for him.
