Tim Tebow could be considering making a movie and giving up his NFL career. The movie is being made by a faith-based producer/production company.

He might want to consider this seeing as his faith is so important to him and he is not starring for a team these days. And besides, he doesn't seem to think football is all that important anyway (check out one of his last quotes in this article:

Maybe he and Kirk Cameron can go on the road and tell the rest of us where we have all gone wrong {SNARK!!!!}. OK.....Have at.

Not to threadjack or put a lock on this thing, but I found it funny during a discussion on a talk show that one of the guests said that the problem of a gay player coming out was that he would be too much of a distraction. If the NFL can survive Tebow, TO, Randy Moss, Bounty Gate, not to mention the legal troubles of various players, it can probably handle a gay player.

If a gay player came out, Tebow would probably try to save his soul ... or speak at a church where the pastor was 100 percent sure that all gay people were going to hell.

Yet on the first day of practice, Tebow did indeed catch some passes in drills, something neither Tom Brady or Ryan Mallett did. He also lined up with running backs and receivers for one non-contact tackling drill, according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer. It could be an indication that the Patriots might use Tebow in some pass-catching role in some capacity, or it could mean nothing at all, other than Belichick messing with everybody.

The head coach did speak before the practice session, and he would not say whether the Patriots would solely use Tebow as a quarterback.

“I think that we’ll use Tim wherever we feel like he’s best for the team and I know that’s what he’s committed to doing as well, whatever that is,” Belichick said.

Didn't he already speak at a "we hate gays" church, which are everywhere.

    Gene Simmons on Tebow:

He’s got a religious passion, as well he should, we’re in America,” the KISS frontman told Radio.com earlier this week. ”He’s proud to be a Christian, what’s wrong with that? And yet, with sports media and pop culture media, they make fun of his religion. Really? In America? If he was wearing a burqa, they wouldn’t dare say anything [editor's note: only Muslim women wear burqas]. But if you’re a Christian, you get to be picked on? What the hell? The guy’s got family values. I never saw the media picking on Michael Vick for torturing dogs. Or this other football player, who’s alleged to have killed, committed murder. That’s ‘cool.’ But a guy who’s religious and has got family values isn’t ‘cool?’ He’s cool to me.”

I, for one, was really curious about what Gene Simmons (WTF?) thought about Tebow.

What question prompted him to respond about Saint Tebow?

He owns an Arena team, for one thing. They publicly offered him a chance to come play for their team.
