I might come around then. That said, I'm going to California next week via Vegas. I'll stop and pick up a ticket on the Broncos winning the Super Bowl.

Put $10 on it for me.

I think Vegas should post a line on the Broncos every week being +/-3.5. You bet on whether the score ends up inside a field goal either way. I'd take the inside on that every week.

No, they should be -2.5 every week.

They'll win by a figgie or get blown out a la Detroit.

I can't put my finger on why I feel this way, but I can't help thinking he is incredibly phony.

All I Do Is Win (Tim Tebow Remix) All he do is win, win, win no matter what
Got Jesus on his mind, he can never get enough
And every time he step up in the buildin, everybody's rush yards go up
And they stay there, and they stay there, and they stay there
    Tebow, Tebow, Tebow
'Cause all he do is win, win, win
And if you wanna run the op-tion, cross your arms, make 'em stay there

He also got the Vikings sans Peterson, although he was fantastic in that game.

Really? I think he's absolutely the real deal.

Actually, I think his teammates respond to him because he isn't phony, and because he genuinely doesn't care who gets the credit as long as his team wins.

Back to the Coach of the Year debate:

Proof that Lieslntx is indeed not reading this thread is no howl of protest that Gary Kubiak is the leading candidate for Coach of The Year ... which is actually an opinion I share. Fox is second for figuring out how to get his team to win with the Worst Quarterback Ever to Don the Uniformâ„¢. Then Harbaugh.

And, in re: trying to tackle Tebow: I think that's the thing about him I find most entertaining. He's not a quarterback; he's a Football Player. When we divided up on the schoolyard, it wasn't the kid with the strongest arm that got to play quarterback; it was the best football player. Maybe that won't win the Super Bowl, but it sure is fun to watch late in a close game.

Even after having his team lose to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, all-pro linebacker Brian Urlacher still doesn't quite buy into the Tim Tebow hype, as indicated by this backhanded compliment he delivered to reporters after the game.

"He's a good running back," Urlacher said of Tebow, referring to the Denver quarterback's strength at running with the football, but also likely more so his weakness at throwing it.

Tebow responded to Urlacher's comments the best way he could by saying, "Coming from a really good player, that means a lot."

Urlacher wasn't the only Bear to get down on Tebow. Julius Peppers also chimed in after the game and told the Chicago Tribune, "We got to finish better. That's pretty much it. It wasn't anything special [Tebow] did."
Even if the Bears defense isn't ready to give Tebow his due, seemingly everyone else is. On Monday, CNN ran a story asking, "Is God on Tebow's side?" Not to be outdone, last night, Bob Costas suggested on Football Night In America that Tebow and the Broncos were among the most uplifting stories in sports.

Time for the media to give it up to Tim Tebow the guy is a winner. I think all the hate he has suffered is a direct result of his belief in Jesus Christ and much less to do with his ability because if it was based on ability they would have to give him credit. Remember Tom Brady was nothing more than a game manager when he first came into the league now look at him. Give Tebow time he will be one of the all time greats.
