Taking a thought from the Week 15 thread about what Tebow is and what he isn't, and considering he's had all of less than a year as a starting QB and all of one 1 training camp ...

For all the talk about whether Tebow is the answer long-term, from the last three years of drafts, who would you rather have?

    2009
    Round 1: Stafford (1-1), Sanchez (1-5), Freeman (1-17)
    Round 2: White (2-44)
    Rounds 4+: McGee (4-101), Bomar (5-151), Davis (5-171), Brandstater (6-174), Teel (6-178), Null (6-196), Painter (6-201)

    2010
    Round 1: Bradford (1-1), Tebow (1-25)
    Round 2: Clausen (2-48)
    Round 3: McCoy (3-85)
Rounds 4+: Kafka (4-122), Skelton (5-155), Crompton (5-168), Smith (6-176), LeFevour (6-181), Webb (6-199) and four more people not worth a shit

    2011
    Round 1: Newton (1-1), Locker (1-8), Gabbert (1-10), Ponder (1-12)
    Round 2: Dalton (2-35), Kaepernick (2-36)
    Round 3: Mallett (3-74)
    Rounds 4+: Stanzi (5-135), Yates (5-152), Enderle (5-160), Taylor (6-180), McElroy (7-208)

Holy fuck, that's a great big batch of shitty QBs, for the most part. And that 2010 Draft is pretty much the exact opposite of the 83 Draft, huh?

I guess the answer is Newton, Dalton, Stafford and Freeman?

I don't think I'd rather have Freeman, as it stands right now. I think Bradford, Locker, Ponder and maybe Gabbert and Kaepernick COULD have better careers when it's said and done. I won't rule out Mallett, either, and Mike Kafka is one of those guys people seem to love, but that's probably Backup QB syndrome.

MC: Duly noted. I'll update the style guide.

mb, Yates has certainly done OK so far. Sanchez is erratic, but he has achieved more NFL success as measured by team record than ANY of those other guys. He's been on the winning side in four playoff road games, among other things. If by some chance, no, make that some defiance of the laws of science, the Broncos find their way to the AFC title game, I will avoid all weekday football commentary in all media everywhere.

Page Six headline: Vonn - I Won't Sack Tebow

Yeah, that's been swirling for the last week out here. Rumors actually started the last week of November when Vonn announced she was getting a divorce. Then Vonn Tebowed after winning a race at Beaver Creek in which Tebow's brother Robby was part of the Vonntourage. Then she was in the Tebow family box on Sunday.

Vonn's fine looking, and obviously athletic, but is she really that hot?

If she wasn't an Olympic athlete, I can't imagine her getting too much attention based purely on her looks.

The fact that "Tebowing" has entered the lexicon cracks me up. I can't wait for the story about how Websters has added it to the new edition of their dictionary.

Not only has "Tebowing" entered the lexicon, Merriam-Webster has added it to the dictionary.

Tebow on the SI cover this week.

What if Tebow is nailing her? He'd be breaking a buncha commandments first time out of the gate.

I was searching for her on the photo wire the other day. She looks terrific in some and very meh in others. Maybe the lighting.

You have to like a girl who can ski better than anybody else.
