All-purpose, running Tim Tebow sucks/is a deity thread!

I think that NFL defensive coordinators have a hard time adjusting to a running QB. They seemed to have figured him out a bit and his passing is simply putrid. Imagine if he could take advantage of all of that 1 on 1 coverage?

I'm sure he will get a shot at QB as they certainly won with him. I'm wondering if he has the speed/ability to play an H back role.

 

I think my favorite comment is how Tebow was better than Vick. Might be a better pet owner and Christian though.

Earl Morrell was a quality QB who starred on two Super Bowl teams (he was the starter for much of the '69 Colts and the '72 Dolphins) and had the best crewcut you'll ever see.

 

There are many people who do not like Tim Tebow’s outward showing of his love of God. Terrell Suggs is one of them.

The star Baltimore linebacker blasted Tebow after the Broncos’ 7-3 loss to the Chiefs in which the Tebow-led offense continued to struggle.

“Once again God had to save Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos,” Suggs said on ESPN’s First Take on Tuesday. “(Tebow) couldn’t even give them two drives?

“With all due respect we don’t need God on our sidelines,” Suggs said. “I don’t feel comfortable I gotta pray every fourth quarter, like oh my God please come save me again.”

The Broncos, the fourth seed, host the Steelers on Sunday.

In order to see a Baltimore-Denver playoff matchup, the Texans would need to lose Saturday to Cincinnati.

That's sorta been my point all along. He's terrible an entire game, then he pulls a rabbit out of his hat at the end and people want to make him the face of the franchise.

I'm just saying "whoa, whoa." The kid was doing things that would make you reasonably think he wasn't the long-term answer at QB for them, even during the winning streak. In many ways, he was/is downright not good.

That doesn't mean he won't be the long-term answer, but he's certainly far from being ready to be the face of the franchise. Meanwhile, some are out to make him the face of the entire league.

To me, this is a disservice to him because now if he performs in any way short of being a franchise player, he'll be deemed by many as a failure.

 

There is of course a large chance that Florio is full of shit, but if this is true ... ohmigod the idea of the Steelers losing a playoff game to timeshare of Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn is just too much to even dream about.

Despite all the disbelief and loss of faith expressed here and elsewhere, I have the Fighting Tebows topping the Steelers in the good ol' office playoff pool. After all, Denver has the better running back (Willis McGahee) AND fullback (Tim Tebow).

And I don't care how bad Tebow's playing, a matchup between (rushing) Touchdown Jesus and Super Bowl Champ Lucifer is entertainment gold.

That's the only game I'll make sure to watch this weekend.

 

They're preparing their backup because maybe they don't want to watch him complete 27 percent of his passes again, with everything on the line.
