Kellen Winslow played when the rules . . . you know . . . permitted people to play defense.

 

Well, that's true, but his prime years were right around when rules changed to favor the offense (the illegal contact rule) and innovative offensive coaches were taking advantage (Air Coryell). I think the eras are very similar in that regard.

 

Getting to today's game ... If John Fox can Quinnbow his way to victory, he will be coach of a lifetime. I want him to go full-on rotation, Terry Dean/Danny Wuerffel or Chris Simms/Major Applewhite style.

That would be more of a riot than the initial change to the Tebow offense.

 

My tin foil theory is the Broncs are floating Quinn just to take time away from Pittsburgh preparing for Tebow, because you need every minute to prepare for an offense as different as the one led by Tebow.

 

MUAHAHAHAHSHAHAHAHAHA!

 

Tebow reminds me of what Leo Durocher said of Eddie Stanky way back. "He can't hit, he can't field, he can't throw. All he can do is beat you."
