Its the Steeler fanbois like BYH who really gum up the works around here.

    STFU, Steeler Fanboi!

We did not get quiet. We were all here, talking about what went wrong and whether/how he could get it back. You can look it up, as they say.

Actually, I didn't get very quiet at all. I came on and acknowledged a lot of Tebow's deficiencies, and gave kudos to a lot of my "message board adversaries" who I had been arguing with for months. Do you want me to find the post(s)? I wish a lot more message board people would extend the same courtesy.

    I completely agree with this.

After he threw four interceptions against (I think) New England on Christmas Eve, I was interested to come here and see what the chatter was afterward.

What I found was radio silence.

It was very similar to non-reaction to South Florida's struggles in the college game this season.

Yeah, how shocking that on Christmas Eve, people weren't on here arguing with strangers over Tebow. I just don't get it.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but is it possible that maybe, just maybe, the radio silence had something to do with it being Christmas Eve? Everyone had to celebrate Tebow's birth, after all. :D

    It's the NFL.

It stops for nothing, least of all a second-rate pseudo-holiday like Christmas Eve.

    Ha.

Seriously, it was a good bit longer than Christmas Eve, but I don't expect the worshippers to cop to that.

I would take the Christmas Eve argument more seriously if some of the same people also did not avoid talking about South Florida football even on regular autumn Saturdays (and Thursdays, when they usually play).

As one of the resident "Tebow worshippers," I just checked my own post history. Here's what I wrote after the Buffalo game on the NFL thread:

There was a bit of discussion, but I think since it was Christmas Eve the board was indeed a bit light. I know I was glad that I had family around to discuss Tebow with.

    Fast-forward to December 26:

I offer a response, which Dick dismisses as only Dick can.

And then Dick tries to get conciliatory. Note the contradiction with the current discussion.

So what does all this prove? Dick Whitman, not having received enough of a fight yesterday on the movies thread, is looking for one here. And to do it he will argue against own prior reasoning to prove whatever point he is trying to make.

Anyway, I've been here discussing Tebow all along. Poin has too. And others.

But, Dick, how did Vegas react when you tried to cash your no-brainer Steelers -7.5?

Also, spoiler alert: Ingrid Bergman gets on the plane.
