Yep. Excellent. And YF's contribution as well.

Yeah, I barely even remembered it. I did remember Delgado.

Not sure how it's comparable either.

Anyone who said anything against that would be shouted down by half of America as being intolerant.

He gave the hypothetical the response it deserved.

And why would one say anything against that in the first place? I don't think Tebow's act of praying is a true source of outrage. I think it's a backlash that has existed for six years, ever since Tebow got all the attention at Florida despite Chris Leak leading the Gators to the title. Same reason Steve Garvey and Anita Bryant faced backlash. Purity and schmaltz and gee-whiz are not good things when pushed, and that has nothing to do with religion.

There was nothing hypothetical about it.

There is a difference between being forthright and shoving it out there at every single opportunity. I'm not sure why that is so hard for you to understand.

You are way out of line calling BYH's point of view bigotry. Of course, I've had the conversation with him about why he feels the way he does. I don't fully agree with him, either, but I get where he is coming from.

Signs that the world really is going to end?

(Any time. I know where you are coming from. I know why. Also there is plenty of genuine bigotry in the world. I'm sick of these "Christianity is under attack!" whiners cheapening the real thing with this bullshit.)

In the previous 18 years of ESPN Sales & Marketing's monthly poll of America's favorite athletes, only 10 people have finished #1.

    Guess who's the 11th.

Are you saying of all the bigotry that's out there, none is directed at Christians, or that you just don't care about it?
