The bottom is before Tim's big signing bonus, the top is after.

And all Tebow has to do is keep is mouth shut about not really being a virgin...

How Fallon went from a painfully unfunny guy who ruined every SNL skit by laughing to a proficient late night host who has The Roots as his back-up band is a great mystery to me. It's like he's on comedy steroids or something.

I have to admit that was pretty good.

Drew Sharp lays out the case for why it's OK to hate Tebow.

There's a lot of truth in that -- particularly the part about the commercial where he says everyone doubted him. It is bothersome to think millions of people now believe that's how his career has been.

There's also some untruth. Von Miller is probably going to be the NFL defensive rookie of the year -- that's nobody talking about him?

And really at this point, to argue that the story isn't that interesting ... I mean, the fact that the writer wrote the column kind of dispels his own theory there. The guy is leading a ratings surge to numbers higher than in the previous two decades; in this day and age that is a miraculous sort of achievement.

It's not OK to hate anybody. It's OK to be bored with the story when there are seven other playoff teams worth talking about.

    How 'bout this:

I'll root for him because he has a smaller chance of beating his wife/girlfriend, fathering illegitimate children, landing on police blotters and pissing away his earnings than anybody else I could root for instead.

And that's not even taking into consideration all the good things he might do off the field.

If I'm rooting for laundry anyway, might as well root for the cleanest one, eh?

I can't decide if this piece, linked within that Sharp story, is the worst piece of political commentary I've read in years, or the worst piece of sports commentary I've read in years. Perhaps both.

The whole idea that Tebow is more worth rooting for because he's less likely to become embroiled in off the field transgressions bothers me if only if it seems to be an assumption based on the fact that he's a white, evangelical Christian.

This goes against everything I stand for as a fan, but.....

    Even I'm rooting for Tebow!

Hoping BYH and YGRUFGERTYFGKVWDF can at least appreciate that. :)
