I respect you, and you have every right to believe what you do (as well as tell anyone who will listen -- sound familiar? --), but your intolerance on this thread is off the charts.

I agree with everything BYH has said. I was raised catholic, my gramma prayed every day when my grandfather went in the hospital with a massive heart attack and he died. From that day on, I disavowed all religion.

 

Should I be offended when people profess their lack of faith? In what way is that more acceptable than those who profess faith? From a strictly semantic perspective, I don't see the difference.

 

A.) I am not saying that. I'm saying that I think Random Poster A is wrong if he/she thinks prayer works and religion matters. I'm not saying he or she is not allowed to speak his/her beliefs. I'm just declaring I don't want to hear them.

B.) I'm not volunteering this information everywhere I go. I don't use whatever platform I have, outside of this relevant thread, to scream at people and tell them they're wrong, Sure, I think it. But I don't say it. Cause it's nobody else's business.
