All-purpose, running Tim Tebow sucks/is a deity thread!

And that's where the analogy loses steam, because NFL games generally come down to the fourth quarter and teams can have influence in all kinds of ways to keeping it close. It isn't just pure math where offense and defense have nothing to do with each other.

If I'm Tebow, I pack my bags for a two-month vacation and make love to some of those honeys that want a piece of him. Then come back and hire a private coach to completely rebuild my throw, as if learning for the first time. Not even working with footballs for the first part of the training, similar to how Roy Halladay got remade.

Making love to them implies commitment. He should just fuck 'em.

I'm ready to hire Herbert as my own personal life coach.

Batman hit it pretty well on the other thread about Tebow. But the one question I have been waiting on an answer to is: What should the Broncos have done at 1-4? Leave Orton in there and hope he stops giving the ball away? Or give up on the season, a.k.a. Suck For Luck?

You will become a very honorable loser.

Play Tebow and see if he can run a real offense.

They did. Against Detroit. And it was fugly. I believe it was actually your favorite score.

They went this route out of desperation. It worked. Nobody knows quite how it worked, but it did. I commend John Fox for it.

And for 8-8, they have no idea if they have a quarterback who can run an offense in the league. No questions have been answered.

So your answer then is that they should have been happy to finish 3-13 so they "know about their quarterback." I see the disconnect here. Some people were watching 2011 and others were thinking about 2014.

What do you define as a "real offense" in the NFL ?
