All-purpose, running Tim Tebow sucks/is a deity thread!

Kyle Orton should get credit for all of Denver AND Kansas City's wins!

Hell yeah, Newton would definitely be in that subset. He's a rare talent.

If Tebow plays 16 games he is top five for sure and has an outside shot of being #1. (Same as Vick from that chart.)

As to Elway, I'm not kidding myself into thinking Tebow is another Elway. I responded to a statement saying no quarterback has ever had numbers as bad as Tebow and been talked about as a future great. Leaving aside the fact that nobody is talking about Tebow as a future great, the statement itself is patently untrue. If you go through the thread, you will see that Tebow's first-year numbers compare pretty evenly with those of Bledsoe, Eli Manning, Kerry Collins, Rich Gannon, Steve Young, Steve McNair and Doug Williams.

Will Tebow be the quarterback any of them are? Extremely unlikely. He has problems with his throwing motion, and he (like early Alex Smith) seems totally incapable of throwing from under center. But for how many weeks has everyone been posting numbers about just how AWFUL he is, and you've all accepted it as proof of his historic awfulness, when in reality his numbers aren't all that unusual for a first-time starter and really are indicative of nothing.

EDIT: Not "indicative of nothing." Poor word choice by me. Should say "do not support a verdict that he has no future."

You know who Tim Tebow reminds me of?

Michael Jackson. Obvious talent. Childlike disregard for social norms. Very polarizing.

Michael didn't shove it in anyone's face in public, though.

Tebow will be the starter in Denver for the next 12 years.
He has the talent and heart.
    Thumbs up Tebow.
    Thumbs down Newton.

Now I know 3 Octave Fart is performance art/sock puppet.

Perhaps he and LTL can tour press boxes together, delivering their unique brand of nonsensical devotion.

One thing we could do is look at each roster and see which guys join the prayer circle after the game, and then we could openly hate them. Hi-larious!

I just hate when people are so determined to be a troll they continually misrepresent what someone else believes.

That post on the playoff thread was funny tonight though. Perhaps you will stumble into another good one soon.

Who gets the star treatment in the tour promotion, LTL? You or 3OF? Does it go alphabetically? Is the 3 considered Three for these purposes? Or do the numbers go first? Or do you get top billing b/c you have more posts? Will Patch.com be alive long enough to conduct an interview with you publicizing your local appearance?

By your logic, I could sit out the first five appearances and get credited for them anyway.

I never said that. But if you sat out the first five dates, appeared at the last 11 dates and shit down your leg in many of them, then yes, you would get more than your share of the blame for how the tour performed.

See? Was that so difficult? Perhaps this helped you better understand what everyone else is saying.

Seriously, dude, you make it so easy. Thank you. Good luck on your tour.

Tebow is the worst thing to happen to pro sports since Dwayne Schintzius.

Just trying to live up to LTL's brilliant perception that I'm a Gator hater.
