Fair enough...I just find a lot of the arguments against MMA logically flawed. I don't care if people don't like the sport but it does get my boat when people pass judgment in ignorance even outside of this issue.

In an interesting move, Matt Hughes has left MFS.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the long term.

To steal a post from another internet forum...

While calling Matt Serra a B-Class lightweight might be a bit harsh, Hughes should beat Serra. What happens after that will be interesting. Personally, I would like Serra to win, and while it's not impossible, Hughes will be a heavy favourite for that fight. If, stroke when, he gets past Serra things will truly get interesting.

As someone, jokingly, said Hughes upcoming schedule will could possibly be this…

While that may have been his upcoming schedule, anyway, even if he was still with Pat Miletich it looks even more likely now.

One of the UK newspapers does a section called, "The 5-minute Interview". This week, with the UFC holding their show in London, the subject is Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.

Randy Couture says goodbye to UFC and resigns his title. He's a name athlete in MMA, but how big of a story is this? Expected? Unexpected?

That, combined with the news HBO won't be signing a contract with UFC, is two hits in less than a week.

MMA can't grow healthily in a monopoly right now.

Is anyone watching the fight on HBO tonight. I don't even know who's fighting, but they are both undefeated.
