Is Kimbo a latter day version of Bob Sapp?

Oh, this is good. Gus Johnson is calling tonight's not-nearly sold out Newark freak show.

And the 'New York Badass' proves to be a 'Big Friggin Pussy', getting TKOd in 1:11 in front of his home crowd...

And at least Gus isn't wearing those Harry Caray-esque glasses.

OK, Can anyone answer this question for me?

    Major League - UFC?

    AAA - MMA?

    AA -

    A -

    Is this correct?

Every fight so far has ended within the distance and there are two fights left. The show was scheduled from 9 to 11 and it looks like it's going to run past the alotted time.
Maybe on the next show they should either cut down on the filler or the ads.

Nope. MMA is the sport. Like baseball is baseball.

    So, in this case,

    UFC-MLB

    AAA-Pride?

    EliteXC? Sideshow freakery

MMA (mixed martial arts) is just the general term for all this kind of fighting.

UFC is the top promotion in the U.S.

Tonight's fights are being promoted by an organization that would be fairly qualified as AAA, at least in the U.S.

Pride and K1 are the major leagues in Japan.

Assuming the ratings are there. If CBS doesn't get the paltry Saturday numbers it's looking for, it's probably back to Showtime Extreme.

How many times did Johnson refer to Baroni as "The New York Bad Ass" prior to the fight? Ten or more?

K-1 isn't the same thing. No grappling techniques or ground work.
