I never thought that Alabama would remind me of Japan.

Basically, DMX is out of his fight at Alabama Pride. There was a problem. DMX, well, wanted to be assured that he was going to win. The promoters balked. They say they might sue. Coolio is in as a replacement.

I guess, the main event remains Butterbean Vs Tank Abbott.

It's being reported that Brock Lesnar's won't be fighting again for a long time. He's out with a, as yet undisclosed, health condition. There has been some speculation that his career might actually be over.

Also, Nogueira has another serious staph infection. Luckily this time around he's had the good sense to cancel his upcoming fight instead of, like in the Mir fight, stumbling to the cage like zombie.

There's a window to do a Lesnar-Fedor fight with both in their primes, and given how much drama from UFC and the Fedor camp there's been when they've tried this before, it would take a lot under ideal circumstances. Wondering if this shuts the window on what would easily be the biggest MMA match ever.

Also, preemptive strike: Shane McMahon is the son of WWE owner Vince McMahon, but Shane is leaving the company at the end of the year. So no WWE-UFC merger (both hate each other, actually), but Shane has a good chunk of money from the sale of his WWE stock, so he could be investing.

Anyone have any ideas on what is the problem with Lesnar. When someone ruled out cancer or AIDS but says a guy won't be fighting for a while it makes you wonder. I gather it's not an injury but might have something to do with his heart, or maybe kidneys? It sounds even more serious than hepatitis or malaria.

Bacterial infection in his intestinal tract, according to Dana Whte.

Should be released from the hospital soon, but still faces a pretty long recovery.

Lesnar's chiropractor is channeling Sheila Broflovski:

Brock Lesnar's chiropractor blames the Canadian medical system for failing to manage the UFC fighter's mystery illness after he collapsed here last week.

"His symptoms became severe while in Canada, which because of their health care system made it difficult to manage. And at this point it's a possibility that it could jeopardize his career," chiropractor Larry Novotny told KSAX-TV news in Alexandria, MN, according to the network's website.

Naturally, there's been no elaboration as to what the Canadian health care system supposedly did to poor Brocky, and this douchebag Novotny was conveniently unavailable for comment when the Toronto Star tried to contact him.

I would prefer to have an opinion from a real doctor instead of a chiropractor.

Poor Phil Baroni. If MMA fights only lasted one minute-thirty seconds he would be the baddest motherfucker in the world.

    War Machine went crazy, again.

Contrary to what the article says War Machine hasn’t given up his MMA career for one in porn. He was doing both. As his Twitter bio says...
