Actually, they should buy James Thompson a plane ticket to Poland. Now, that fight would be fun while it lasted.

If fighters start having contract problems I wonder if he'll ask his relation to help with the negotiation process.

Looks like Lesnar will be back this summer to defend his title. He and Dana White were on ESPN this morning. The video should still be in the centerpiece. Pretty interesting story about what happened to him. Hole in his stomach that miraculously disappeared.

So, Malcolm Brown from the Sydney Morning Herald doesn’t like MMA. It’s not civilised and safe like boxing. It’s like Rome, yo.

There's one in every city and at every newspaper and they all spout the same stereotypical nonsense they've heard/read somewhere else.

There's a great thread over on The Underground where people speculate on whether Cain is in a gang. You see, he’s Mexican and has tattoos. People voice the opinion that his Brown Pride tattoo is racist while discussing if he threw up a gang sign after his victory over Big Nog. You see, he’s Mexican and did something with his hand.

    The thread is a classic.

Though, I suppose it was technically a gang sign that Cain threw up.

Later on in the thread someone posted pictures of some of Cain’s homies throwing up the same sign...

The thread is great. In the way that only Internet threads can be.

    It contains posts like this…

An interesting piece on the abuses that happen at amateur MMA events in Iowa…

With the popularity of MMA soaring because of TUF/UFC, you just knew that these local promoters were going to try to capitalize on it.

Dana White constantly blasts local MMA shows and people say it's because he wants UFC to be the only game in town. It's actually because he sees how shaky a lot of these upstart organizations are and he's knows that a black eye from a local show can cause problems in the UFC.
