OK. Enough about Gene Keady.

Here's one of my all-time favorite pitchers, but you can't tell me he doesn't belong on the list.

You are correct. Her photo was on a blog that also mentioned Gene Keady and, gasp, how ugly he is.

This was on another thread, but Tanner used to put him in left field on certain occasions. Actually it seems like it was only one.

Over 1,000 games pitched!!! And an effective reliever for over 13 years!!!

I was just looking at his stats a little more. When he retired, he was only 20 games short of Hoyt Wilhelm for baseball's all-time leader. Did he just walk away?

 

Rod Barnes, former Mississippi player and coach. One guy said once it looked like he had scurvy. He was a hell of a player though.
