Very well done. Might put Ralphie Valaderra in there too.

  3. This thread is useless with pictures.

Since this is all-american sports right now, it's time to address ugliness from the other side of the ocean. I give you Peter Beardsley.

Mr. Kelly Buchberger has got to be on the list

As well as Ryan Smyth, whose own wife said "it's a good thing we got a family portrait a few years ago, this was we can keep photo shoping his face in" or something to that effect.

And of course there's Mike Ricci who once was voted the sexist male athlete in Colorado. Doesn't really speak to highly of the state I'm affraid.

Wow, Ricci looks like the old guy from the "Bitter Beer Face" commericals there.

Tekulve does still wear those same glasses pictured above. He and Candelaria were and are both pretty damn ugly. Give Candelaria the slightly uglier tag because he is an asshole while Teke is a great guy.

  7. Speaking of Tekulve, I believe I mentioned on the autograph thread a while back that I saw the buzzard nekkid in a locker room when I was a kid ... got an autograph and an image burned into my brain, unfortunately.

  8. An ode to Don Mossi

Bill James on Mossi: Don Mossi was the complete five-tool ugly player. He could run ugly, hit ugly, throw ugly, field ugly and ugly for power. He was ugly to all fields. He could ugly behind the runner as well as anybody, and you talk about pressure ... man, you never saw a player who was uglier in the clutch.

(BoingBoing brought this to my attention)

If memory serves, Ricci was up against that quarterback, good ole horsey face.

Should we put Bobby Nystrom on the team?
