    I'm a little offended by the description - I don't have an IPOD. Maybe I'd buy this one, but the MP3 player I bought on Woot last time is still sitting in the box with me not knowing how to use it - the wife would kill me.

    I'd rather take something refurbished, because it's usually as good as new (with most of the parts replaced) at a fraction of the price.

    If you replace an iPod under warranty, you get one that's been refurbished....agree with wicked it's good as new.

    OK, it wasn't a woot item, but I got a wootlike deal.
    Ms. Slappy's brother works for Lowe's and mentioned that they were clearing out some Black and Decker items. His store was out of it, but went to another area store and got a 6 piece Firestorm set with drill, reciprocating and circular saw, sander, stud finder, laser level, two rechargable batteries and a charger for .... $47 each. That's a savings of 150 to you and me...
    Bought two -- one for me and one to plop on ebay.... If I get 100, I've paid for mine....

    Woot sucks after 10 a.m. :p

    I'm a big fan of steepandcheap.com. It's like a wootoff for outdoor gear. They never sit there for 18 hours waiting to post a new item for sale, though.

    Wife has been wanting one of these since her old one died.
