    looks like woot is having serious problems with the XM sattelite radio they sold on ther about a week ago. I got mine just fine, seems to be working ok, but I also seem to be in the minority. Many, and I mean many, are having problems with their units that are not being replaced by the manufacturer.

    Great. We got ours, was going to activate it today. Problem with what part of the unit - the radio, the boom box?

    Looks like the radio -- and all refunds would come through woot, not the manufacturer...

    I don't doubt woot would refund the defective units, but it's just a major bummer to those who got it, to not get it replaced for that price. LIke I said, mine works fine, so it's not impossible.

    Activated and on now. Works like a champ.
    For once, I got lucky. Unless it craps out soon. But, hell, I got it on and activated much easier than I did my first one. Now I have to haul the wife's vehicle to the audio shop so they can hardwire the car kit.

    I've had XM for years now (well, three) and she never paid attention. She takes a two-day trip with a buddy and comes back and says, "Wow, she had XM in her car and it's just terrific. I want it for my car." Uh, I've had it in the car and house for three years now. "Like I pay attention to you and your toys."

    Woot came through the very next day.
