Am I the only Big Brother fan?

Boogie's answers were put together better, more rehearsed than Erika's. You could tell Mike actually put thought into possible questions before hand. Erika just looked lost, like a deer in headlights.

 

OK, so I just got home and watched this. "Reward my game play?"

Fuck you, Boogie. You didn't HAVE game. Will had game. You had a hold of his shooting star. That's it.

God, this is like having an NCAA Tournament and having two 9 seeds playing for the title. How the hell did they get here??

 

Of the final two, Boogie deserved to win more.

But as the first five evictees pointed out, this should have been Will vs. Janelle in the final.

The diary room telephone montage between Will & Boogie was hilarious. Especially since you could see in the faces of the other houseguests that they knew that they had been played.

I really felt sorry for Erika when they ran the montage about her and Boogie's relationship. It was hard to watch.

In the end, I think that Will's time in the sequester house played the biggest role because he was pushing people to vote for Mike. That's why a couple of people who we thought would vote for Erika, voted for Mike instead, each saying that they were voting for the best player. It is too much of a coincidence that they each used the same line.

 

Does Howie not make the finals for biggest prick in Big Brother history? What a lame-ass! I hate that guy, which I guess makes him a good character.

When Julie was reading the votes, how does she not read Will's vote first? After she read the first three votes for Boogie everyone knew he won because she hadn't read Will's vote yet. Maybe they wanted Will's vote to put him over the top...

 

TOTALLY agree with you. Mike is such the ho because he could have easily kept it to innocent flirting during his "show-mance" but he knowingly (and deceptively) allowed things to go further.

Janelle earned that. I wouldn't have argued with Will..but Janelle earned that by winning like 75 competitions.

She won everything - sure, but give some love/money to someone who needs it. Janelle can just go do some more Playboy shoots.

 

I was hoping for Chicken George to get the $25,000.

Janelle was the better player and America loves her (maybe because she accidentally flashed the camera, Sharon Stone-style, during her first season), but George was decent to everyone and went very far for someone without a real alliance entering the house. It would have been nice to see him get something.

 

About a year ago I was flying across the country and I was fortunate to get bumped up to first class. Sitting next to me was Big Tom from Survivor and Survivor All-Stars. He told me that ever since he was on Survivor the first time (I think he finished third or fourth) and actually won $100K because of a fuck-up that was never announced that would have kept him and Lex in a competition.

He told me that the contestants on that show could make more than $100K-$200K a year in appearances if they had a good agent and were willing to fly anywhere in the country. He said even people who get voted off in Week 1 or 2 can make a decent living making appearances. He told me that Richard Hatch once got $100K to show up for a weekend at a car dealership...

Needless to say, this was one of my favorite flights ever...

 

I had no idea when I started this thread it'd still be going. I was just relieved to find out I wasn't the only BB geek on SportsJournalists.com. LOL

I, like most of you, found the final two to be very anti-climactic. However, I was very happy that Boogie won over Erika.
For those of you who watched the live feeds over the last few days, Erika had become VERY full of herself. And, actually, she was really getting on my nerves this season (I actually liked her a lot in Season 4). She took credit for EVERYTHING that went on in the house. As Dr. Will said about three weeks ago: "If you wanted a drink of water and turned on the faucet, Erika would walk by and say 'Oh, you're welcome for the water.'"

I despised Boogie when he first came into the house. I've always been a huge Will fan, since BB2, and just saw Boogie as this poseur dude. However, Boogie worked his ass off for the first 5-6 weeks keeping Will's head into the game. Will wanted to go home and only came into the house at Boogie's urging. Boogie's game play kept Will's head in the game those first six weeks.

I agree the final two IDEALLY would've been Will vs. Janelle (the ultimate strategist vs. the ultimate competitor). But, as fans of reality TV know, the best player doesn't always win.

As for the finale, I loved the fact they called James out in front of EVERYONE. That was awesome. He's an insecure little weasel. I think Erika lost a lot of votes when she took so much credit for everything. She got a little too full of herself when she floated her way to the end. She should've admitted that was her strategy and it worked perfectly. Instead, she said she manipulated everyone to the end, which was totally false. I think the All-Stars lost respect for her for not admitting that.

Well, it seems like the perfect time to start a Survivor thread.

My wife says Will and Boogie are rumored to be heading to the Amazing Race or some such thing. I'm not much of a fan of that show, but it sounds like I'll be watching nonetheless.
