AMC's The Killing

There is a vast wasteland of programming that is a million times more terrible than the worst of "The Killing." It's a TV show. It'll be back on before you know it. Shit will get settled eventually, and if it doesn't, I've got better things to worry about it. The shows were pretty good TV fare an hour a week. As noted earlier, a little slow in "midseason," but I'm not going to question my life much because the series finale didn't satisfy my finely-tuned viewing sensibilities. I'm not offended, angry or outraged. It's a TV show.

Always fun when you try to get back at me by saying you're too dumb for something.

if i'm dumb i don't want to be smart.

or is it, 'if it's wrong i don't want to be right?'

i'm confused. but no surprise for fo someone not smart enough to appreciate the nuance...

Amazing how much trouble you have with reading comprehension.

But since I'm such a nice guy, I will simplify it for you. It's not that the show really is that complex and deep, but you think having the writers jerk you around makes it that way. You THINK you are demonstrating how smart you are by saying you like it. You're wrong, but hey, whatever delusions you need to get through the day.

I'm demonstrating that I like a show by saying I like a show.

The finale may not have had the real-life implications of a Battlestar Galactica episode, but I had no problem with it.

At least the writers of Battlestar Galactica actually knew something about character development.

And the reasons you gave for liking The Killing sound like you are trying to prove something.

"It's more realistic" is often just an excuse for lazy writing.

Why haven't you responded to my question about the reality of comic book films?

Try actually quoting the entire sentence that led to that point next time and I might bother.

Without too many spoilers, as I eagerly await the opportunity to spend two valuable hours ensconced in the reality of "Thor," please explain to me how it is "more neatly tied up" than a similar real-life situation involving Norse gods.

Typical. You know you are being an ass, so you look for some odd little detail to pull the discussion in another direction.

I could have phrased that question better. I meant movies and television that are more grounded in reality.

That said, at least the writers of Thor understand the concept of character development.
