I almost regret reading that - since it pointed out how many other things were just plain wrong about the show and the characters.
The funny thing is? It's still fixable. Open the next season with a flashback of Rosie at the casino getting a payoff from one of the campaign aids and following it through.
Have Holden say the photo is from the ferry, not the bridge tollbooth.

The first three episodes were really good. Then it kind of lost steam in the middle. Didn't like the ending at all, but I'm not willing to drop F bombs over it.

The Killing frustrates me in a similar way Entourage does. They are both so close to being really good, but instead leave you thinking "why did I waste my time watching that?"

Sepinwall nailed it as usual when he brought up the scene with Stan and Bennett's pregnant wife. Tremendous performances in a scene that made no sense. Kinda sums up the entire season, but I kept thinking the payoff of the finale would make it worth it.

They could have done the scene with a different pregnant woman, or a woman with a small child, and it would have been just as effective.

Is that your way of saying that I'm not going to heaven? I fucking live for F bombs.

I tend to speak in the fuck patois when I'm in my cups, so I am not one to judge.

    So...

Season 2 premieres on April 1. Two-hour episode and all that good stuff. However, Rosie Larsen's killer apparently won't be unveiled until the end of THIS season.

Who still holds a grudge? Who will watch?

    I'm on board...

No way in hell. I'm done with The Killing.

I'll get by with Mad Men and Game of Thrones.

I actually wouldn't mind knowing who did it, but I'm not going to plow through anymore of this show's manipulative treacle to find out.

I never finished Season 1. Gave up on it with two (I think) episodes left.
