Yeah. I watch a few shows that are mostly crap. Somehow, I came to care about the characters, while gritting my teeth. This show is heading into that territory.

That's the problem. I can't find myself caring about the characters. I can't understand what the fuck Holder is trying to say half the time. I have to turn the volume on my TV way up just to hear his mumbling. And speaking of convoluted storylines ... father runs out on family, no contact with the child in however many years and now we're trying to drum up a fake storyline for Linden by having pops try to come in and steal custody of the boy? Come the fuck on.

I guess I watched less closely than you during that most recent episode. I thought they had connected Rosie's dad to the murder of some guy and then suspected the dead guy's son as the potential killer. I was under the impression that they were looking at it as a revenge killing. I guess I missed the part about the custody of a kid.

I'm talking about custody of Linden's kid ... the absentee father, a week after Linden didn't go to California ... threatened to sue for custody. Too much of a leap for me to take.

Thanks for the clarification. I forgot about that bit. In my opinion, the kid's mere existence detracts from the show.

I think this might be my last episode. I don't give a hoot who killed Rosie. I just hope someone shoots the person who proposed this ill-conceived, poorly written plot.

Tonight might be it for me too. This season started off okay, I actually thought they were going to wrap it up pretty quickly.

Now it's obvious that they won't.

Can you really be up and campaigning a week after being shot and having your spinal cord severed???

That never occurred to me. I try to avoid using common sense with this show. There have been so many things that have no foundation in reality. I saw a lot of that in tonight's show. Come on...a guy is going to speak at a press conference in support of a politician who had been a suspect in the murder of his daughter? I don't think so. Mom is off somewhere and has a complete stranger staying with her. And I'm almost certain that the laws for Native American lands do not provide you with complete immunity if you decide to beat the shit out of a detective.

All we know is that after every episode, Mad Men starts.

Pretty soon the answer to "Who Killed Rose Larsen?" will be, "Who gives a shit?"

From the teaser for next week, it sure sounded to me like they might have actually KILLED Holder, which is a wonderful way to keep covered up whatever it is the Indians are trying to cover up ... yeah, that'll work, there won't be any repercussions or investigation there, surely.

So much about this show -- which I piss myself off by watching every week -- doesn't make sense. Add to the list the fact that the Richmond campaign complains it is suffering because, even though the councilman has been cleared, people still think he must have been involved in the killing, EVEN THOUGH THE CAMPAIGN NOW KNOWS THE POLICE WERE ACTING ON A FAKED PHOTO when the cops arrested him. Richmond and his people are keeping this out of the media for what reason, exactly????
