She and her judgment are even worse. If the writers aren't trying to make her unlikable, they're failing miserably.

Is it even remotely possible that Dr. Carol found Lori in time?

Highly doubtful. Last we saw of Carol, it looked like she was walking outside one of the cell blocks.

And we heard the shot, though off-screen, from Carl that assured she wouldn't be turning into Zombie Lori.

Edit to add: If you watched Talking Dead last night, one of the writers/producers/whatever her role is said the only way Lori and T-Dogg come back is if they do a flashback episode in the future.

Nope. The only door was were Maggie was at with the baby and then Carl put a bullet in his mom's dome. Plus, Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori) did an interview about her character's death.

She's Cutler-level annoying. Also, she looks like a cyborg.

That's why I think it would make such a good twist.

    Disagree.

Bringing back a character after such an emotional sendoff scene for her would be beyond a slap to the viewers' faces. It's spitting then rubbing it in.

Sarah Wayne Callies and Robert Kirkman did separate interviews with EW.com and both confirmed her death. The Callies interview is very good it goes beyond her saying "yes, she's dead." It talks about the actress' phone call with Glen Mazzara confirming they were writing her off (ironically, he called her the same day his mother died), to their send-off party, to her emotions and feelings about the character.

Lori Grimes is not coming back. The only open door is a flashback or Rick's dreams/nightmares or whatever.

I'm still bothered by Rick letting his son just stand there.

I love how the planning these characters undertake means nothing in the end. Or how certain characters survive and you think it means something. Carol's doing Jack the Ripper shit in the yard in preparation for Lori's delivery? Great! Hershel lives? He can help direct the birth! Nothing means anything in this show.

I'm with NDub. I thought Rick's reaction was perfect. The worst thing that could possibly happen just happened to his little boy. This wasn't about Ricks feelings for Lori. This was about a son losing his mother. And Rick can curl up on the ground a few feet from Carl because he may as well be a mile away at that moment.

Fascinating, too, that we see characters that were completely self-involved at many times in earlier episodes (T-Dogg and Lori) choose to make the ultimate sacrifice while the whore with nice hair (Andrea) is enjoying the comforts of Pleasantville. Makes her behavior seem all the more annoying when juxtaposed with the prison scenes.

    Great, riveting, stunning episode.

    Why do you hate Rick?
