Yes, they know Merle and Daryl.

I wonder if Daryl's going to pork Carol Jamie Lee Curtis. Probably.

Actually, since it's Jamie Lee Curtis, she's probably going to pork Daryl.

Have you seen Trading Places. They're real and spectacular.

It's been a few years, porn monkey. Doesn't change the fact she has a skinny mushroom hidden somewhere.

I don't even know why I am defending her. Jamie Lee Curtis is awful, and Melissa McBride looks like a sickly version of her.

I think, when Glenn and Maggie first got out of the truck before going in the store, they mentioned the prison while talking. Woodbury and the prision obviously are obviously in the same area, so it makes sense that Michonne would know where it is and head that way.

Yes. "A baby in a prison needs toys." They were smart to have that key piece of dialogue come well before Merle shows himself.

OK, I got it. There were definitely clues for Michonne to pick up on about the prison settlement.

Maggie wasn't talking about the child.

Just got to watch this week's episode. Screw you guys that thought it sucked. I thought it was a fantastic episode, especially the final 10 minutes or so.

And it's not too hard to figure out how/why Michonne would go to the prison. She spent eight months with Andrea, who despite being left for dead had a generally good opinion of the group she was with and probably spoke kindly of them to her when they were alone. When they got to Woodbury, Michonne saw that Andrea knew Merle and, no doubt, they talked about that in their alone time as well.

When Michonne heard Glen/Maggie talk about the prison, she was probably under the assumption they were with a group of people and when Merle reunited with Glen, Michonne probably put two and two together that that's where the group was. Throw in Merle going postal and nearly killing Glen and Magi and, thanks to the law of 'the enemy of my enemy', Michonne can figure out pretty easily that she'd rather be with Rick and company, even if she's never met them, than on her own.

Remember, she obviously cares about Andrea and left Woodbury specifically because she didn't trust it. She is also in no condition to go out on her own so her options are to 1.) go back to Woodbury, where they want her dead, 2.) Go it alone and hope the infections/lack of food doesn't kill her in her weakened state or 3.) Take a chance that Rick's group is worth connecting with.

I was unaware posters here thought it sucked. Regarding Michonne, I'm not sure anyone thought it was loosely done, we were just discussing how it all came together. I watched on Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. while doing 300 modified burpees, so my head wasn't always directly on the show.
