It was easy to forget him. I mean, the group forgot that he "might've" survived as well.

I think we called it a "recon in force." Not gonna be pretty.

The interrogation scenes were horrifying. Loved it when Glenn got killed the walker. Great fight scene.

I don't see Herschel or Carol dying. Why make such a big deal of saving them only to kill them off a few episodes later? More likely would the blonde girl and/or the redneck inmate.

  7. I think that's one of the great things about this show.. There may only be one (Rick) maybe two people they are not going to kill off.
That's what made the interrogation scenes with Maggie and Glen so riveting to me. I had no idea if they would live or die.

Why have Carol learn how to perform an emergency C section? Why have Hershel live, only to be absent during Judith's birth? Nothing means anything on this show -- that's part of what I like about it. :)

The only two people I can guarantee are safe would be Carl and Rick. That's it.

    This.

I get the feeling that Carl will have to deal with Rick's death at or near the end of the show's run.

Anybody else catch the look in the Governor's eye late in the episode and start thinking of Private Pyle from Full Metal Jacket?

    Good call.

And a damn good episode. Hate that it ain't returning till February, but it'll be worth the wait.

I do love how they illustrate that the Governor has lost it, while still finding an opportunity to remind us that Rick is well along that path.
