It was the sample. After that room blew up to self-contaminate, Jenner went to the recording screen again. Between drinks of wine, he told us the TS-19 samples were destroyed, and that the significance of their loss could not be expressed. Something along those lines.

I know I tend to think of things in different lights that some, but if I knew the world was as it is in the show, before I left I would have picked up as much of the ammo and military hardware as I could to fight the zombies instead of driving off. There is no cure except killing the zombies, so you you've got to start somewhere.

After the explosion, the area seemed secure from geeks and it was daylight, so I'd get as much stuff as I could before leaving Atlanta.

They are attracted to noise. The site will be overrun with zombies shortly.

They don't move real fast. I'm sure I could take two minutes to scavenge some guns and ammo before they arrived. Plus, I'd like my chances driving a Hummer with a 50-cal mounted on top over some of the vehicles they had!

She just happened to have the grenade?? In her purse??

Otherwise, loved the lesson on the brain function of a zombie, from death to resurrection...actually made a lot of sense.

First episode I really liked, probably because of the minimal gore. Not a fan of the pickaxe through the brain, over and over.

Guessing the whisper was about where they might find other functional humans, and maybe something about a pregnancy. The blood test served no real plot function otherwise.

Anyone think we'll ever see the one handed brother again?

You don't hire a scene-chewer like Michael Rooker and use him for one episode. He'll be back.

I'm guessing you had no problems with the decapitation scene then? :p

I honestly can't watch any of those scenes. I just look away and when the squishing sounds stop, it's usually safe to look up.

I have no idea why I watch this show.

The only thing that's made me really squirm was when the wife axed the abusive husband. That and the skinhead putting his brother's hand in a handkerchief.

The wife moment was completely demented. The hand was gross but as long as there's not blood spraying and brains splattering, i'm okay.

At the end of the last episode, when they blew away those few zombies, all I could think was, someone read the script and said, 'Shit! We didn't splatter anything! Wtf!'

The best kill of the last episode was when Shane killed the female zombie as they were walking back to their vehicles. The girl was one of the producer's daughters who was getting ready to leave for college.
