The worst part was showing Daryl in the previews for the next half of the season.

Yeah, there was about a half second of him with the bow again and I was like "DAMNIT!"

The Michonne-Governor fight scene was well done and that's why it was intense. I WTFd twice in that scene - once when she killed Penny and again when she put the glass chard in his eye. Yikes.

So what does the Governor do with Merle and Daryl?

One thing I liked about the scene was how the governor quickly referred to the group attacking his groups as terrorists.

    Very Orwellian.

Rick's team also had the element of surprise and confusion, plus the smoke covering their escape. The Governor's men didn't know where they were or how many people they were facing. That counts for a lot in a fast-moving firefight like that.

Why? Did you really think they were going to kill him off the show?

Not to reveal that much but in the books Michonne had a real motivation to kill the governor, in the show she does not.

It was like Kirkman got the plot lines confused or it was just better for dramatic purposes.

To me, last night's episode was one of the weakest of this season.

Probably late to the party on this one, but I don't think Verse was talking about Rick's group when he said they were outnumbered 5 to 1.

    Didn't Kirkman write the books?

Kevin Smith has a bad reality show about the guys who run his comicbook store. I just caught a bit ab9out somebody coming in and trying to sell a 'Walking Dead #1.'
They said it's valuable, although the book in the episode had schmootz on it.

Schmootz or schmutz? I need a style nazi here please?

No. But I didn't want to jinx it.

Maybe they are going to kill him, but then Merle hallucinates and sees his brother in a reversal of Season 2.
