AMC's The Walking Dead

My wife was wondering (she doesn't watch the show and won't. Too graphic) audibly from our bedroom why I was yelling at the TV "stab the bastard in the eye!"

Great fight and something I've been waiting for. The whole Merle resolution oughta be interesting. Don't blame the governor for being pissed, especially since Merle lied to his face about Michonne being dead.

 

That scene between the Governor and Michonne, I was yelling at the screen "Shard! Shard!" as soon as the tanks crashed to the floor and the Gov got the upper hand on her. She goes for the sword, nope. Then the shard!

But she should have finished him off, not left it at one eye whacked. Better yet, she should have shoved Penny over to him, then used that long sword to kabob 'em both at once.

Obviously that wouldn't have been good for subsequent plotting. But I do dislike when easy, realistic options -- like Rick's group huddled in one little storefront doorway, yet all those militia guys unable to shoot a thing -- are snubbed.

At the episode's start, my first thought when we see Tyreese was that it was the father from way back in Season 1, having gone to the wild. Looked for his boy initially. Then recognized him as "Cutty."

Kirkman said on Talking Dead afterward that they decided to "peel back the layers of the onion" for the Governor more slowly for television.

Ok, who hasn't gotten into a heated argument about whether a zombie apocaplypse could really happen?
Women always say a zombie apocaplypse couldn't really happen, and they're always wrong.
No reason to shoot them.

 

Unless they become zombies mid-argument.
