I think we can safely discuss Morgan now. For some reason I thought he killed his wife in the pilot. I thought we saw him do that. That was the one point that confused me. Maybe I should rewatch the pilot.

    Didn't Rick do it? Maybe I mis-remember.

Apparently his wife was left alive, then killed his son. I definitely need to rewatch the pilot.

Morgan couldn't do it, and there was the scene with the mother walking up to the front door. Shot of the door knob jiggling from inside followed.

  6. That was covered in the episode.
Morgan talked about with it Rick.. Rick gave him the gun and asked him to do it. Morgan declined.

OK, now that you guys say it, I definitely remember that scene. Was that the last we saw of Morgan?

    Excellent episode.

I loved how Rick and Morgan were portrayed as two sides of the same coin. They have both been through hell and Rick was well on his way to the dark place in which Morgan currently resides. That's why he was so desperate to believe Morgan could come back from where he is (and, ultimately, why I believe we have not seen the last of Morgan).

It was interesting how the fact that characters are portrayed by a white actor and a black actor kind of visually cued up the differences between their current states of mind.

The last time we saw Morgan and Duane was at the campground when Rick gave Morgan the radio and said he would check it every day at dawn. Last time we saw Rick do that was when they left the campground to head to the FDC -- or whatever it's called -- in Atlanta.

The part that gave me chills was Morgan's statement to Rick that the strong will die and the weak will somehow continue to live. I think that works on a lot of levels regarding a lot of things. The way the actor delivered it, too, was just plain strong.

That was excellent and, perhaps, foreshadowing.

    I thought foreshadowing, as well.

If true, that pussycat Andrea will continue to vagina her way through this thing.
