They should do a series of webisodes (each unrelated) about various other groups trying to survive this shit.

She's been listed ever since, even last week when she didn't appear. I don't get that? Please go away Lori!!!

I didn't realize they had done that. Maybe I'll check them out. Any good?

Not bad. The first one (done after season 1) is the history of the half-woman zombie Rick goes back to kill in Season 1 after seeing her while riding that bike in episode 1. It was so-so, but interesting.

In betweeen season 2-3 is a series about a guy that finds a storage facility to hide in...there is a tip of the cap to Rick in it (the guy is going through Rick's stuff while looking for some clothes). It was dark, but well done. Some faces that make you go (hey, I know that person!) in it as well...just not any "stars" in it.

AMC's website still might have them up. I'll look for the link.

I thought both webisodes series were great, IMO.

Last week's episode made me realize how small their world has been -- back at Rick's old police station, after all that Atlanta and farm business. Which made me wonder what's going on in the world beyond that -- the rest of the state, the rest of the U.S., the rest of the globe.

Have they addressed that at all? Are the folks we're following truly that cut off from reports from afar? Could they truly be so disinterested? They don't even talk about the fall of New York or Washington DC or the prospects of getting to Australia or anything like that.

Be funny as hell if the rest of the world was plugging along just fine, un-zombie-fied, outside a few counties in Georgia and our heroes didn't know it.

The doctor at the CDC mentioned something along the lines of being the last CDC still open...so I think it's state-wide, if not global. Plus...it's been more than a year, if it was just the area...that would be a long time for them to wander around without a plane flying over or such.

That's sorta, kinda the plot of The Mist isn't it? Or at least the end.

Didn't the CDC doc mention something about Paris -- or somewhere else -- getting wiped out?

Yes, Jenner had been in contact with Paris over the wildfire outbreak.

    Then he lost contact.

I know I'm late to the party here but holy crap what an amazing episode. I agree with everything written here. That might be one of the series' best. Just the character development alone was amazing. Then when you start to think about things? Wow.
