I did like how both Rick and the Governor essentially told her, "Get the fuck out, woman. Men are talking."

Rick is a gullible little bitch.

But it was a good episode.

I can't believe anybody is even surprised Rick would do that. I think the point was to show that if Rick trusted the Governor to keep his word, he'd take the deal in a heartbeat. The only thing really holding him back is the thought that the Governor would just want to kill them all anyway.

I wasn't surprised. It's another in a long line of recent shitty decisions. Make a fucking choice. And stick to your first one because it blatantly was right.

If this show wants to show some balls, Rick will die this season for his indecisiveness and borderline insanity.

I told my son earlier in the episode that I wouldn't be surprised if he took the deal or at least they show'd him considering it with someone. Really, it makes sense with how they had developed his character this season. He still sees the core group being the people who came from the farm. Those are the ones he'll do anything to protect, including selling out Michonne.

The question for him isn't so much what to do with her; it's whether he can trust the Governor. Like he said, his instincts tell him that he can't, that the Governor will take everyone out as soon as he gets Michonne. But there's that seed of doubt, that part of him that wonders, "What if I'm throwing away our one chance to get away from this without any problems?"

For a man who just lost his wife as she gave birth and has seen so many others he cared about die, it's not irrational to want to take the way out that avoids bloodshed. Rationally, he knows he can't trust the guy, but inside he wants to be able to trust him so that he can get out of this without anyone dying.

Another really good episode, too, in my opinion. My son kept thinking someone was about to die. I told him I thought they might just be setting up for a few weeks worth of bloodbaths to finish the season off.

Agree with JRoyal and am very impressed at all the people on this thread who know exactly what they would do in the FREAKIN ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. Plus, he SAID to Herschel the Gov would probably just kill them anyway.

I thought the play between the Gov and Andrea at the end was well done. They're both on different sides of the street and you can definitely tell the tension. They're a house divided now and it's about to go all Jerry Springer.

Maybe they should let Michonne drive alone to Woodberry, get out of the car and say come and try to get me. With the others nearby, guns ready, coming in from the other side.

The episode was pretty great, even if the last few minutes weren't all that great. But it sets a lot of things up for the final three -- !!! -- episodes of the season.

Yet I find myself very much not giving a fuck about Woodbury because the Governor is becoming a caricature and Andrea should have died years ago.
