What was with Merle taking the phone Rick was using? Only thing I can think of is to tie up Michonne with the cord?

 

That's exactly what it was. He used the phone cord to bind her hands. Remember he said don't use anything she can chew through.

 

Which she then used to decapitate a walker -- which was one of the best freaking kills of the series.

 

Carol was also the last one to see T-Dog alive...

On a side note, my better half is obsessed with Carol's ability to keep her hair short through all these year.

 

Yup, my wife cringed and I (to use a wrestling term) popped for that kill.

 

That and the head stomp kill were great.

 

With that blade attached to his stump, Merle could have become the first walker to commit suicide. Or, if Darryl had been so inclined -- and without a weapon of his own -- it could have been an assisted suicide.

Gotta say, Merle was my favorite character, mostly due to Michael Rooker. Used to be a Herschel fan too but since he went to the pony tail and lost his leg, he's been a lot less fun.

 

So any thoughts as to who's not going to make it out alive next week? We all know there's got to be at least one major death during this finale and, unless Carol is seen talking to herself, I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's going to be Maggie.
I hope beyond hope that that's not the case but I think she's done.
I'll also give even money on Herschel being the one to bite it. He's really got no purpose now.

 

Herschel goes. Milton is a good candidate to die. Carol might as well be offed so they can set Darryl over the edge. If they really wanted to up the ante, they could knock off Glenn or Andrea. If Herschel goes, Glenn dying would be too much to dump on Maggie. The Governor will be fake-killed so he can come shockingly come back some day.

Only untouchables are Rick, Darryl, and Carl.

 

I actually think Glenn's outta there. Milton. I wouldn't mind seeing Jailhouse Lillith Fair check out, either, but that's doubtful.

I obviously hope Andrea gets ripped apart, starting with her vagina.
