If it means anything, next week's episode is called "Welcome to the Tombs."

I'm thinking Rick's people give a fight, guerrilla, Red Dawn Wolverine style.

Just got home and am watching an episode from the second season. I had forgotten about Andrea shooting Darryl -- who she thought was a walker -- when they were on the farm. I also remember hating Herschel that season for some reason, and Darryl hallucinating about Merle.

Also, looked over some episode viewership numbers for this season. The show has had 10 million or more U.S. viewers 12 times this season. The lowest it's been is 9.21 million for "Hounded." "The Suicide King" had 12.26 and "Clear" was at 11.30. Not too bad, especially considering the show never had 6 million viewers in the first season.

The more I think about it, from a writing standpoint, this makes a ton of sense. Could set up tension between Daryl and Rick next year with Daryl blaming Rick for all the deaths, esp. his brother and Carol.

People must really have mellowed. Was a day that mentioning the source material would've brought down the wrath of many upon you.

Maybe they just haven't noticed that he did it yet.

I tried to read over it when I saw the spoiler warning, then it was quoted twice.

Well, I threw it in there because:
    1) The show might've already used the idea
    2) It was more of a teaser than a spoiler
    3) It's been established that the show and comic are kind of alternate universes of each other at this point. Same characters, similar "big picture" events and storylines, but different details that send their stories in vastly different directions.

I don't mind a spoiler with proper warning so I know to avoid it.

Somebody on The Talking Dead last week used the term "guerrilla war," so I don't think they've left the prison. They're going to use their massive advantage of knowing the nooks and crannies.

Like Tommy_Dreamer said, with the name of the episode being "Welcome to the Tombs", I'm betting they draw them into the inner cell blocks and beat them down in there. I've got a theory on how things might end if it plays off the comic some, but I won't post it here (it's on the other thread for those who read the comics).

It's not really a spoiler because the show is not sticking to the comics.

Was anyone else surprised the governor didn't take care of a reanimated Merle? That seemed to be something he genuinely enjoys normally. Perhaps he just viewed letting him be a zombie as a form of punishment?
