    A new series of webisodes:

DO NOT READ THE NEXT PART if you don't want to be spoiled!!!

    OK, LAST WARNING.

Alright, so if you watched all three, you will see that Paul survives. Rumor is that he is joining the cast for season 4 (along with the guy from the warehouse webisodes).

It's pretty obvious this is the hospital that Rick was in when he woke up.

Maybe I missed it...but WTH happened to the doctor? Did Paul kill her when he threw her down? Did she run away?

Just watched all three webisodes. Those were pretty damn good.

I'm halfway through Season Three. Is it just me, or is David Morrissey a poor man's Liam Neeson? Did he even bother using a dialect/dialogue coach? It's almost too distracting. Love the character, but the voice throws me off.

I also kinda figured out the phone thing pretty early.

Finally finished Season 3. I enjoyed the finale and some of the decisions made in the story. I liked how the season gave us a new threat other than walkers. Sure, walkers are the plot device to get everyone to a post-apocalyptic world, but it was time to do something a little different even if only for a single season. The whole story with the Governor and pushing the walkers to the side was fine with me. I do believe that the biggest threat would be other people, who would kill you in a heartbeat to keep themselves alive. Especially when society is so fragmented that one man can re-organize even a small group and get drunk on power. People scare me more than walkers. Besides, walkers make for lousy characters and lousy drama. Walkers are a plot device, the drama comes from the character interactions.

Having watched the extended preview for the new season, I'm liking what I see. I think it's time to get back to a walker threat. The group has been so wrapped up in the Governor that they just accept walkers as a way of life. It's time to shake them out of routine. Of course, I want to see the Governor return eventually but not for a while.

Why doesn't anyone just call them zombies? In The Walking Dead's universe, was "zombie" not a commonly used term?

They've been called walkers and biters, and something else I can't remember right now, throughout the series.

Maybe "walkers" was a way for AMC to pick up a copyright or trademark, I dunno.

Scroll down to "Nicknames." Geeks. I never heard that one on the show. Must've missed it.

I think "geeks" is thrown around as a shorthand sometimes.

It just seems rather ridiculous that they push so hard against calling them "zombies."

Edit: That link actually explains it, so thank you:

    That seems strange.

WE ARE THE WALKING DEAD! THE WORD ZOMBIE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED! CARRY ON!

    Beyond strange.
