Really enjoyed how bad-ass Rick returned. How he put his gun in his holster was akin to saying, "OK, it's on... again!"

I actually like that the whole Farmer Rick thing wasn't just the ugliness of it all getting to him again. He actually realized how many times he has fucked up and lost his confidence. I like that bit of self-awareness, but he doesn't get the luxury of making that choice. It makes things that much worse that he agonizes over his mistakes.

Yes but I think if you're going to be a leader of a group of people in this world, you really have to keep your mistakes in mind. Rick is going to have to make split-second decisions (much like the pig sacrifice this week) and those decisions need to come from a person who has thought long and hard about everything leading up to that moment. You can't just go around and make crazy decisions without being somewhat careful to consider the implications. I like that Rick reflects on the actions he's committed. It gives his character depth in a world where it would be too easy to just not care about anything at all.

Agreed. It also seemed to transform his son and allowed him to be a bit of a kid again. Carl has gone from someone I wouldn't have minded becoming walker-dinner to a decent kid again. Considering everything he's been through, along with his dad, good for him.

    Who's feeding the walkers?

The same person who burned the bodies at the end. I'm guessing it's a regular, but have no idea who.

So (for those that watch Talking Dead)...who is going to die next week?

(No actor/producer is scheduled to be on the show...that usually means that someone dies)

My guess is either Hershel or Carol.

I really could've done without the repeated pig slaughter. I get why they did it, but they only needed to show it once to be effective.

I agree. It was difficult to watch delicious pigs being fed to walkers.

F*ck the pigs! I could have done without Patrick's very graphic first zombie din-din. Damn, that was brutal.

I'm not so sure, btw, that the person who was feeding the walkers is the same who burned the bodies. I think the girl was feeding her pet walker, Nick. As for who torched the bodies, I think it was an adult. Had to be to drag the bodies.

It was a nod to Romero, which was a nice touch. They said things were going to be gory this week, and they weren't lying.

The flashlight is too high for it to be the girl, unless she found something to stand on.
